Heavy clouds and late on the track gets you p7 and p10. Shame, I am disappointed again.

Seemingly annoying ending.

Seems like the wind caught us out more than any rain, shame, more promising pace and we managed to screw it

What happens in a Red Flag with 4 mins left? Also it was pure badluck. We got hit by wind at that last part.

I think the team sent out the drivers way to early, they should have waited 3-4 mins more

Yeah but it could have got pole also, but ultimately it didn't work out and the team will own that one.

I don't think the team did anything wrong. Yes they were out last but the wind is what screwed the car in the last part.

You just explained what they did wrong, should have been first in the queue

I dont think that would have changed anything. The rain was expected to have come a minute later. and it wasn't the rain that screwed the car. The wind increased quickly when we did our run. The car had the capability to go first.

Would have changed everything, Aston were first in the queue and lock out the second row

On the team feed they were balancing sitting at the end of the pit lane too long and losing all tyre temps or not sitting there too long and having a more optimum lap. It is weather in qualy, just have to read it the best they can. Cant always nail it. I dont think you can blame them too much

Yeah, it really isn't more complex than this.

I can sort of understand both points of view. I almost understand why they didn't predict the wind would pick up quite like that. The drivers talking about how weird it was. Going earlier would have been safe, but I don't think anyone expected that kind of ending.
