Verstappen describes the car as jumping around like a kangaroo in qualy trim. Promising.

Perez needs the points - But i think Max's stance is he has to earn them himself. (which I think Max should give Perez a little hand given Perez helping in AD21)

I really think Perez is doing well at the minute - the pace seems good. Shame about Mexico T1, but I think he will just beat Lewis in the WCC - providing he finishes and scores points above the top 8. The points gaps for where they both finish, isnt great enough for Lewis to overcome it - IF Perez is scoring points
Mess with the Bull - you get the horns.

I think Max needs to be very careful with Perez at the race start. He will be gung-ho again. Like in Mexico.

Nah, I think the team will be wise to him and say the race aint won in the first corner. Perez needs to take a leaf out of Max's book he read in 2022 for that one. The RB is fast here, Checo is doing well here. With DRS it should be a good overtake opportunity.
If Perez scores 2 more points in the Sprint than Lewis it's excellent for keeping the gap in the WDC

If the team really cares about 2nd in the championship, the logical call would be to let Perez through anyway, I guess.

Verstappen probably has other ideas, but he doesn't seem to care about sprints too much, so who knows.

+4pts for checo on Lewis.
Thats MEGA for a sprint too.

Keep it clean tomorrow and should be pretty good for P2 in the WDC

If Sergio Perez focuses, he can podium tomorrow. I have nothing to say about the Dutch one

Max was fastest on track in the slow speed corners all race. Puts time into everyone there.

Considering this is meant to be the rb19's weakness, they have improved upon this aspect with the setup a lot

Once max started using the tyres in the high speed the gap to Norris increased

He has been fastest in these corners all weekend. They went for a high df setup to protect the rears. In Friday qualifying he was 2 tenths faster than anyone in s2 on his fastest lap (the q2 lap). RB lost time to McLaren and Ferrari in s3. The sprint showed it paid off.

Next year Mercedes and Ferrari will likely fix their issues on these tracks where high df is required. Ferrari cannot put more rear df on these high deg tracks as it will induce too much understeer with their weak front. Merc has too much drag if they set up the car for low deg (which was not successful this weekend).

Gasly and Albon were unsponsored RB juniors. Perez has a lot more in his deal with RB (the sponsorship, RB marketing, Ford marketing etc). Perez staying is more of a business decision than a performance decision.
