Here's to hoping that tomorrow will be much cooler, then.

Vassuer said they made a mistake on the cooling for Charles and Carlos after the race. On the on-board Xavi was asking Charles to increase lift off nearly every lap.

Hopefully they can fix their cooling for tomorrow.

Some weather sites have tomorrow cooler by up to 3 Celsius so they might be alright if they aren't not allow to change any of that before then

For a good result tomorrow we need to get out of the first lap in P2. This could allow Leclerc to have free air (Max will do another race) and thus manage both tyres and engine temps.

I think Norris will be also too fast tomorrow, but we can fight against Lewis, Russell, Alonso and Perez.

yeah, may even be intentional, for more pace tomorrow, I guess. The team said that the sprint was no priority, so it would kinda make sense to race with less cooling, if it comes with an advantage for the race.

They were at least second fastest on Friday on pace, that went away quickly...
Norris did no long run on Friday and I would say he seems to have 5 tenths to 1 second over piastri at this track. Might be the cause of Ferrari's sudden appearance of dropoff

If there was dropoff it was probably due to cooling. Seems like they were lifting & coasting constantly in the sprint. Tomorrow will be cooler and Leclerc should have more clean air, and they might be able to improve the cooling setup in parc fermé idk

Just to understand how crazy the management was...

Ricciardo gained over 2s in 2 laps on Sainz after he overtook Piastri

Sainz might have lost 8th with out the DRS from Hamilton on the last straight...

Hopefully either the predicted cooler temperatures or a cooling setup change will let Charles and Carlos push a bit harder during the race.

Duchessa on Twitter ( seem to be suggesting the Merc have set their car up for the Med-Hard compounds in the race. Have to see, but hopefully the Astons can get a DRS train going and let Charles pull away.

Were Ferrari on more used tyres compared to McLaren, Redbull and Mercedes?

They did not even use a new set in sprint shootout q3, which means they had 2 fast laps on theirs compared to 1 on the rest ?

If that’s the case, makes Leclerc’s tyre deg more interesting imo

Max only used 1 set in SQ3 and no new softs in FP1, he'll have the same tyre allocation.

The Ferrari were doing some heat management aswell so the rac eif they are able to pusgh should be a bit better.

Isn’t it supposed to be cooler today anyway? So may not need to change

Yep quite a bit cooler. And Leclerc should have cleaner air today

Still they were so on the limit yesterday that even with lower temps they will probably be more conservative today
