Nope. Will spend the race fighting with Tsunoda & Gasly I'm afraid
No, they won’t. You do know Yuki/Pierre are 15th/16th on the grid.

Hopefully the car works better on the M compound. Ideally, Ham needs to jump the Aston’s, and then manage behind LEC/VER. Russell’s penalty means he will be the one fighting more today, like Hamilton was yesterday
Norris will likely get Lewis early...the move on the astons need be prompt.

Fingers crossed that it was management related and they can score good points ( the dreaded phrase )

i wonder if they're going to do sim runs overnight along with tweaking the stuff they can under parc ferme and just bite the bullet and start in the pit lane if the sim shows a bigger improvement. i cant see them being in the top 10 tomorrow with just tweaking the front wing etc
One thing they can immediately do tomorrow is to take a more conservative approach in the first few laps. They were very quick today, and that wasn't probably the optimal way to manage the stint.

They can change something front wing related, but nothing major. Lewis will have to find a way to deal with this balance in a better way. Not an easy job for sure.
W14 doesn't have the straight-line speed to recover if they loss track positions by running conservative in the first few laps
I think is better to lose even 1-2 positions than have such a massive drop-off later on, but yeah not easy. As a Ferrari fan i know the feeling very well unfortunately. We have been dealing with terrible tyre management since 2018....

I don't think so with the heavier car and the tyre choice for today.

Merc seems confident enough they can fix it without having to change setup under parc ferme, about to see if their right or got it completely wrong this weekend

Looks like Merc's pace is still awful, they really should have just changed setup

Unsurprisingly right.
Gasly is coming back at them.
Would be P9/P10 without the issues for Piastri & Leclerc

Thankfully, it’s nearly time to put this car in the bin

If Merc started in the pitlane it would have worked out so much better for them if they managed to find a better setup, no way for them to know ahead of time but considering 5 cars retired and two restarted from the pitlane.
