Yeah the gap has stabilised. Anyone know what are Max and Landos lap times now compared to 3 laps ago?
VER raised his pace. Lando doing similar times as earlier. (1:13.5)

I guess VER was not managing that much - he couldn't take fastest lap.

Still though in a few laps Lando got 5 seconds from Verstappen. It makes me wonder why the team aren't taking more risks. Why not let him finish with the mediums. It's one thing for Verstappen to reach him and another to pass him.
those tyres were already shot at that point.. he ain't doing another 10 laps on those mediums, Max would of come back easily with 1.5 sec a lap, and would of risk fernando perez catching

To be honest - it is likely that one stop would not have won the race. Verstappen was able to do 13.5 till the end of the race. Norris was in the 15s when he went for new tires.

Well, whilst waiting for the 60 seconds of footage of Lando that we got to see in the race, there was at least plenty of excitement to keep us going whilst we kept an eye on the gaps :D

No we weren't going to win it, it was just a question of what might get us closest. The answer was to pit.

Did he go for the fastest lap or just bring it home? I'm not sure he did go for it now.

Two more races left. Any ideas of what to do to beat Verstappen one more time?

Considering how much later Lando stopped I think Max conceded FL, but I'm also not sure if he could've got it had he attempted to..

Mclaren is still missing that clear race victory. We did though win at a Sprint. Norris must be fuming inside for being again so close.

My point is that he was pushing enough that he couldn't save enough tire delta for the fastest lap. He usually does that and even charges his battery. This race he wasn't able to do that because Norris pushed him all the way. Incredible stuff.

I think I just need to see us beat RB once to be convinced of how close we are, call my a cynic
But you may well be quite right.

It's an amazing performance come what may.

Norris is doing amazingly at this moment. His gap with Piastri is close to the gap between Max and Perez.

His great start gave us the chance to see a real competition bewteen him and Max, by far the two fastest drivers here.
