I've been on the strip quite some times, but I don't really get the feeling I'm in the middle of Vegas. The whole strip feeling feels kinda stripped ..chrisc90 wrote: ↑16 Nov 2023, 17:44https://fb.watch/olYBhw5HVU/
Can’t help but think hitting some of those barriers if you get it wrong in the corners after the high speed is going to hurt. A lot.

Nice! Also, notice how well the curbs work to keep the cars on track; wouldn't want to go over one of those!Hoffman900 wrote: ↑16 Nov 2023, 20:28Temperatures aren’t going to be far off what they have driven / raced at Spa in, with rain.
I think we’re so use to wanting everything to be perfect that we forget there was a tike when they raced / drove around in conditions like this with barely a shrug.
It's probably true for Mercedes. But if you consider different characteristics of cars and how they treat tyres, then the tyre life offset could have added impact to DRS. We might see passing and repassing like we used to see in Saudi and Bahrain.organic wrote: ↑16 Nov 2023, 23:23Russell claims that DRS will not be worth more than 1 tenth per straight at Vegas thanks to the low DF setup of the teams

Could be rough for overtaking
From what I see so far, Russell is very wrong about this. That back straight (the vegas strip) is enormous.organic wrote: ↑16 Nov 2023, 23:23Russell claims that DRS will not be worth more than 1 tenth per straight at Vegas thanks to the low DF setup of the teams
