Hamilton denied that he or anyone connected to him talked to Red bull about potential partnership.
Not only that, according to Lewis [Canal+ F1] “That’s completely untrue. However, Christian reached out to me earlier in the year”
calling on Lewis old phone numberr, which he wasn't using since a long time, but somehow still saw missed called from Christian a much later...

Who's a liar I wonder? 😂
Yes, it's an interesting one. Is Horner so untrustworthy that he'd lie in an interview with the Daily Mail? Or is he so untrustworthy that he'd leak confidential discussions in an interview to with the Daily Mail? :-k

As per BBC Sport:
Questioned about the discrepancy between the two versions of events, a Red Bull spokesperson said Hamilton's father was the one who made contact with Horner.

Max speaking on next year
We're working on the car to make it better. We know our weaknesses and we want to make our strengths even stronger.
On city circuits, we're having more trouble. Low speed, bumps and kerbs are areas where we need to improve.

So he [Hamilton? Wolff?] needs to get to Newey.
Relevance to the Red Bull Racing thread? Hamilton is obviously an unacceptable choice as it is very likely that Hamilton and Verstappen would collide frequently, as they already did so even in different teams.

Leclerc would be a much more sensible choice for Red Bull Racing and is still a tier one driver. Leclerc and Verstappen have rarely collided (not heavily anyway) so I think that a Verstappen & Leclerc pairing would work just fine. :)

Does Leclerc, however, have the faith in Red Bull Racing being a better long-term prospect from 2025-onwards than Scuderia Ferrari? :wtf:

I got the quote in French and ran it through DeepL without checking for errors

Max on reaching 53 wins and potentially 54 this weekend, already talking about winning more next season
“It's quite a crazy number. We've also had a crazy year, so it would be very nice, but at the same time also I'm very focused on what's ahead of me and hopefully also next year we have a competitive car again, we can really continue that momentum that we can win more races.”

Ver had a different engineer on the radio. It was weird. It reminded me of Alonso's engineer.

Near the end of FP2, Ver says on the radio:
The car is just wrong.
Also said no front end in S1.

Probably have to abandon the setup direction they have. Seems weak in many areas
