The money he lost to Horner will go to the bar bill of the mechanics tomorrow night.
.
=D>

Cracking stuff from Max, Charles, Oscar (albeit Lando stuffed up) and Yuki! :D
.
Yeah tha Red Bull suspension working well for the Japanese driver!
Well done from Yuki!! Only 0.523 sec from pole! =D>
Very disappointing drive from Ricciardo, 15th place!
Also from Albon and Sargeant. I thought they would be better here.

Hope they can beat the Williams tomorrow for the 7th place in the WCC.

Ricciardo has lost it. He is unable to beat Yuki convincingly to make a case for Red Bull seat. This is a massively upgraded car with RB19 suspension and Ricciardo is nowhere near Yuki.

Norris over driving in qualifying is becoming a bit of a reoccurring theme.
Reoccurring nightmare depending on your alliance :(

Bujaaaahhhhh, that is not completely fair. He had a shot at pole but needed a fantastic last section, they have a very good front end so he kept the line short and then the rear gave up. But I think he had to try and get pole. Rather then take it save and get P3.

Lando was 0,29s up on Piastri on his final lap. Piastri himself had a poor final corner:

This is Lando first Q3 run on USED tires against Piastri 2nd and best run, where he left 0.06s in the final corner alone.
Mclaren had a car good enough for pole yet again, but got P3 and P5, more than 0.3s off.
For all those people saying about Max it's all just the car, please stop, it's getting embarrassing.

Ricciardo is finished. Everyone knows why he was kept around, purely to aid RB’s/AT’s marketing & them capitalising on his social media popularity, that rose through his exposure on DTS. Now they’ve broken the US, and DTS beginning to fade, there’s not much use for him now, other than maybe replacing an ageing Coulthard at sponsor events. Yuki now bending him over should be the final nail in the coffin, and Lawson put in that seat. Unfortunately, that won’t happen

Thanks. The SF 23 is so bad in long fast corners :D Max was so much faster there.

Leclerc lost the pole in the first corner, which is neither long nor fast. 165kph on the apex. Overcautious early braking from Charles there, which is understandable, given lack of reference from the first run in Q3.
There was nothing between him and Max in the rest of the lap. All the damage was done in T1 alone.

Yeah, the first corner was the worst for Lec, but also the fast one before the final slow part of the track. Lost like 0.05s there (half of what he lost in the first corner).

He isn’t peak Ricciardo anymore, but they got a new rear suspension with little running under representative conditions. Yuki is very fast, I always thought so, and these days is also quick up to speed. I think Ricciardo can get there given more time.

Based on this, Charles lost 0.14s in the T1, which is of course more than his deficit in the end of the lap.

Is also risk level. Risk doesn’t come free. Charles is always willing to take it, and had to here, but it also causes moments. Max these days knows exactly how much to take. I think he could have done more in s3 but that is also a bigger chance of a Norris moment, or worse so he didn’t. Checo was way closer to the wall. And over the white line. Point taken.
