Thank you!
Probably they didn't wanted the whole video about Alonso...
https://www.planetf1.com/news/f1-engine ... -work-with“At the beginning of the year with the broken hand, and then midway through the season with some difficulties, he was so determined to put things back in place again, and eventually he did, after I think Mexico, the race in Brazil, the race in Vegas.
“This was a surprise to me, to be honest, the level of commitment and the level of motivation that he has. So this is only good news and good things for the team.”
“The car was just changing the behaviour a little bit and he was just struggling a little bit more than me, and now I think we’ve fixed a few things in the car and he’s back to the top form.”
Does that means, there is a possibility of 'Florescent' green on AMR24?
We don't know if the gearbox design weakness is related to the zeropods. Let's not make that leap. Afaik pre-2022 their gearbox was also not that small compared to rivals-wkst- wrote: ↑14 Dec 2023, 21:27
No new informations. It was always clear (and there are several articles about it) that the Mercedes gearbox is bulkier because of their initial zero pod design. Therefore the beam wing is less efficient, bigger wings needed, etc.
But for sure that wasn’t their only problem. Floor, front wing concept, etc…
https://www.the-race.com/formula-1/how- ... will-work/From December 1 of this year until January 1 2025, the only windtunnel work permitted is using a scale model that “substantially complied with the 2023, 2024 or 2025 technical regulations”.
Dyno testing aimed to develop brake system components “with minimal air ducting” can be carried out, as long as that does not test “or in any way provide incidental data or knowledge on” the performance or endurances of bodywork.
It is a similar story in terms of preventing CFD simulations, with the same December 1 2023 to January 1 2025 timeframe only permitting CFD work using geometries that “substantially comply with the 2021-25 technical regulations”.
Similarly, the “sole purpose of the development of the brake system components and associated test rigs” is the only exception.
Have u seen the RBR dominated "fastest pitstop" vid?
