Let's not forget that this is what the sponsors asked and paid for. If Visa and Cash App want to pay millions to get naming rights, then why would Faenza say no?
No ones argued otherwise if Visa pay enough to be the title sponsor so be it, but the team has no identity now, and that was a conscious decision made by Red Bull that not something Visa or Cash App decides. Before they existed without title sponsor. Alpha Tauri existed away from Orlen for example. They've sold out.
Red Bull owners were cleaning up the books after DM's passing so Alpha Tauri or Toro Rosso or whatever this is needs to be run like a real business with income and profit. That's part of why they had to sell out to Visa/CashApp and couldn't continue as Alpha Tauri, a brand that let's be honest no one has ever heard of. Faenza needs to generate more revenue/income to justify the continued ownership and tieing up of RB cash. This is the compromise.

If Visa/CA say this was the condition for the multi-million dollar sponsorship, then RB can only comply. The same thing happened at Sauber with the Steak business.

It's very different, Stake is only really a place holder for when Audi take over.

Cutting all the crap of this naming, can we simply refer the team as racing bulls in discussions? :D

I don’t think I’ll be buying any of the new team merchandise. I’ll stick with the old. Can’t imagine they will have any merchandise sales at all.

I hope they just call it Visa Bull, it's the best salvation for this atrocity.

Not very likely, the Mastercard deal was results based.

First drivers spotted in F1 car: Tsunoda and Ricciardo drive AT03 at Imola

For the first time in 2024, Formula 1 drivers have been spotted behind the wheel of an F1 car. Yuki Tsunoda and Daniel Ricciardo drove around the Imola circuit in an AT03 on Tuesday.
Former Formula 1 team AlphaTauri - now Visa CashApp RB - is conducting a three-day test at the Imola circuit with the two-year-old AT03. An ideal opportunity for drivers Yuki Tsunoda and Daniel Ricciardo to get used to the F1 cars with ground effect again. For both men it is the start of an intensive training program prior to the upcoming season, which will be a tough year with a record number of 24 races.

Testing at Imola did not go completely smoothly on the first day. The Italian racing team wanted to send the AT03 onto the asphalt early in the morning, but that was not possible due to the cold. The asphalt was still frozen even in the first hours. After the thaw set in, Tsunoda was given the green light to send the car out of the pit box. The Japanese drove his first meters with full wets to gauge how slippery it was, after which slicks were screwed on the car. Daniel Ricciardo was allowed to get behind the wheel in the afternoon to make his first meters of 2024 in a Formula 1 car.

And Visa is only a place holder until someone else decides to take over.

Visa Toro Rosso would have done fine.

What the hell is "Cash App"? A Visa service, or a completely different entity?

Edit: something unrelated it seems (entry at wikipedia).

"“Not just a name change”: Red Bull wants its second team to be title contenders"

So it's now allowed to have 2 teams both fully committed to fighting for the wins and titles? Mercedes and Ferrari better hurry up and buy another 2 teams, each...
And they call it a stall. A STALL!
