Until now, Catellini was @ RB , serving with the role of "Chief Engineer - Technology and Analysis Tools at Red Bull Racing & Red Bull Technology" and prior to this was Head of Aero @ McLaren from 2014-2020

Many well known names on board now.

The guys at Red Bull weren't kidding when they stated their expectations for Team Faenza going forward.

I think Visa RB should be the callsign going forward BTW. Sounds reasonable.

Can't help to draw parallells with Haas. Alpha Tauri and Haas found themselves in the same hole early on in 2023.
Yet their owners have made total opposite decisions. Invest VS not invest.

Mekies said: "The appointments of Tim, Guillaume and Alan add a vast amount of winning expertise to the team, and I have no doubt that they will help take the team to the next level in F1.

"We already have a very strong and hugely experienced group at the team and bringing onboard highly skilled individuals like Tim, Guillaume and Alan will boost our capability and help us meet the highest technical standards, both at the factory and at the track."

Guillaume Catellani joins from Red Bull's senior team as deputy technical director.

Goss spent 28 years at McLaren until losing his job in 2018 as the team went through a restructure following a loss of performance.

He said: "There's an exciting challenge ahead of us but I think the team is well-equipped to meet that head on."

The 60-year-old heads the team's technical department and will oversee technical director Jody Eggington, with Catellani next in seniority.

Permane had been at Renault in its various guises for 34 years when he became the victim of a management reshuffle in the middle of last season, which also saw team principal Otmar Szafanauer lose his job and chief technical officer Pat Fry choose to move to Williams.

A widely respected figure in F1, Permane's move amounts to a promotion from his former position at Renault.

He said: "After a few months of downtime, it's great to return to racing again.

"From long experience, I know how professional, driven and competitive the people within this race team are and I can't wait to see where that spirit can take the team in the future."

Visa RB is in a different league to Haas when it comes to financials, infrastructure and manufacturing capabilities. Haas needs hundreds of millions in investment to bring their facilities up to the standards of a modern F1 team, RB is pretty much there already with the new facility in the UK.

This new facility is the same as the one in Bicester for the R&D departement but without the windtunnel.
And the factory in Faenza was always up-to-date. Indeed RB is in a different league to Haas.

serious question though...from his prior role at the FIA, did Tim Goss have access to the tech secrets of all the cars on the grid? or no?

For sure he had! But if we remember the Renault controversy in 2017 / 2018 when Marcin Budkowski left the FIA to join the team, it had not a big impact on the team.

I think he can't bring much more than engineers switching F1-camps.

RB19 looking good in these colours. Oh no, they might reset the naming counter again actually :(
They'll probably call it the VCARB 01 or something silly like that

According to this, they will do a shakedown of the car on 12 February (4 days after livery reveal) at Misano

And the chassis will be called VCARB02

VCARB should never be allowed to stick. Terrible acronym.
