Strange move given how bad Ferrari as a team have been recently. I doubt it’s a money thing. Presumably they had a big list of impressive things for the future that sold it to Lewis.

Lewis seems to think they can, leaving a team he was #1 driver. Also the reports of one of the big reasons for him going to Ferrari is because his favorite engineer, Serra is now at Ferrari and they both agreed on which concept route to take is interesting. i guess we'll see if this is another Mclaren to Merc move

I feel for Sainz. From being team leader in Mclaren and almost winning there, to get the dream job at Ferrari and winning twice, to being spat out after just 4 seasons...

The most importanting thing for me is that Lewis leaves Merc after trying the W15 in the simulator. He wouldn't have taken this decision if the W15 was a rocketship

But there're the only time who competed with RB with the F1-75. In fact this car was the fastest at the beginning of 2022
Last year, the team made tremendous progress despite the limitation in the design of the car. They clearly outdeveloped Merc despite finishing behind them in the WCC
