A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.
Tbh this should be done in a speculation thread or team thread, not the car thread.
This is likely not the final car given we are weeks from preseason and Haas have in the past launched with a render that doesn't match up to their launch car (2022)
Can we lock car thread until it's on track/real and not just renders? Or until it's confirmed the renders are realistic

Well, sidepods are giveaway that it is a different car from VF23. and lower SIS definitely shows 2024 chassis.

Yeah it's not like teams have ever created renders that don't depict reality... Cheese grater floor from sauber's 2023 launch?
Even if its a fake model or perhaps more likely an earlier model, it still shows the direction they're headed as its completely different from what they had previously. Worth looking at either way imo.
Interesting bodywork/packaging solution to duct some cooling air to the rear suspension hole. Not novel but the way they've shrink-wrapped the bodywork in the area is
No triangular airbox either which is intriguing. Sidepods still aren't small or low volume
