We have car launch and other stuff coming up in a week. So instead of getting the team thread muddled with everything, let this topic run it's course separately.

No, they didn't. They just said the decision will be made based on what happens on Friday. Fair to assume that it should take a little bit of time. The problem is that the RB20 launch is rapidly approaching. Red Bull never shows their real car so it's purely a sponsor/PR event, heightened by it being the 20th anniversary of the team. So Horner being there while the investigation is still ongoing or Horner *not* being there while it's still ongoing would both be nightmares for Red Bull. I can see them wanting to reach a decision as quickly as possible, but given they hired an outside investigator I'm not sure how much control they have over the timeline.

Red Bull is about P.R. And this is a good example of damage control.
Red Bull also have their values. Keeping this private and leaking out would hurt the brand more then throwing it in the open. No external media bashing Horner at the moment as happened with the Susie/Toto saga.

Now just see how this turns out. Might as wel speculate some sour grape tried to stir up Red Bull prior to the start of the season......
