RB20 speculation

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

There's the waterslide. And no hint of a top side inlet.

As I said..
Chasing shadows and pixels on side views won't show them.

Honestly no idea where people see a top side inlet, the surface is fully continuous. It's under the top lip strake and the lower lip is quite far back. There is clear surface discontinuity under the top lip where the inlet is, even if it's almost indistinguishable in these lower quality photos.
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

Did some messing around with various photos and ended up with this one that might give the best view of the inlets so far

Any news of a reworked transmission? I bet we are going to see a very narrow lifted rear.

+1 Starting to see how far the upper forward suspension mounting has been moved backward.

this is continuing a trend every year since '22:

At this point, the entire upper control arm triangle is behind the wheel center.

Indeed, and a further continuing trend is no one being able to say for sure whether it's primarily for aero or for kinematics. I might still say aero.

It also further inclines the pivot axis of the entire arm backward toward vertical, which raises a big kinematics question. What people have been calling anti-dive seems to have been further increased again.

Now that the track has been quite wet these days with the shakedowns/filming days, has anyone tried to make any front tyre wake treatment comparisons?
