I dont think their DRS actuation system has anything to do with their top speed advantage - I think this is a red herring.

I think the high downforce tracks proved they just ran a very efficient aero platform at most tracks - when they put on extra downforce for those High DF tracks, their top speed advantage was minimal.

Looking at the opposite sidepod there is a crease on top. Either waterslide or the indent shown at the release. No sign of a top inlet with this perspective.
