I'm getting a little concerned, feels like the last 2 years, minimal mileage, I expected the opposite this year

Mclaren do this every preseason test... this shouldn't be a surprise + this is the first car from the new wt, correlation work is even more important.

Piastri is out doing constant speed run at the moment. 100 kph at one straight, 160 kph at the other and pit.

Maybe they are validating info from their wind tunnel vs. real life?

This is the 1st time with only 3 days of testing and just a week ahead of the actual Grand Prix.

They were a few minutes ago and came to the pits. They are just very stop start.

If the platform is as different as it sounds, they may be spending time learning the ride and dialling it in to something sensible.

They know what they are doing, and testing. I'm not sure anyone needs to be concerned.

Good, onto aero testing. I didn't catch any pitot tubes or flow viz so far but haven't watched intently.

Cant say that Im satisfied yet at least for a start but I suppose the team does their own testing program not trying any fast laps.I would like to see a more representative time at some point.

They are P4 at the moment. Going through their program. I think that is fine. No issues.

I think we will see more later in the day. Norris will have more time on track as he will not need to do as much correlation work.
