I really really don't understand why some people are surprised. The (false) narratives pushed last season (i.e. RB 19 not dominant, stable regulation = convergence in performance, look at Perez struggling to finish P2 and other bullshit) worked well i suppose

Let's get real, anything slower than 31.8 today would have been disappointing from Max, all cars are likely at least 1s faster than last year and some (McLaren) more.
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

Verstappen ha completato un altro stint, questa volta con una C3:
34,975 - 35,247 - 35,332 - 35,489 - 36,093 - 35,414 - 35,46

Maybe "monstrous" is a bit of an overstatement.

I'm not.
Rooting for 24/24 for Max.

Considering he did that immediately from his fast laps, it means the fast laps were done with quite some fuel

Do provide us with a stint of similar length that with an average time within a second.
EDIT: Preferrably on worn tires

So, shall we just give Max the WDC now and he can have the year off? 😂
If I come across as blunt, I apologise, it's my ASD. Sometimes, like an F1 car aqua-planing, it gets out of my control.

That's what usually happens with a stable regulation set, but not always. If the RB20 is faster than everyone else? Not much of a surprise. However, it's testing so you can't really draw too many conclusions especially on day one.

I'm only saying those figures do not seem to be coming from another planet. Who knows the conditions the runs are based on. Who knows the programs.

Is too early but, another F1-RB championship with no competitors? :wtf:

I wonder if the Merc rear suspension isn't very good, I remember Fallows giving a comment at launch about being forced to use it and Williams interesting opted to use last years suspension over the new Merc one. The Merc and Aston rear end is very similar in parts, and both teams haven't looked great yet.

It's 2023 2 basically.
Same teams, same driver lineups, same regulations.

Probably the least exciting season buildup I've seen in 21 years of watching the sport.
