Sainz stint on the C1
Even if they dont fully finish the entire last stint doesn't mean they wouldn't still be loaded up with the full race fuel. You could get most of the data you needed to by then, especially when the C1 tires seem to basically last forever.
That Ferrari race sim is impressive...
Something doesn't seem quite "like for like", because Sargeant is matching Perez in the last stint on the C1.
Perez's race sim was in daytime.AR3-GP wrote: ↑22 Feb 2024, 18:16Something doesn't seem quite "like for like", because Sargeant is matching Perez in the last stint on the C1.
Thank you for that.CouncilorIrissa wrote: ↑22 Feb 2024, 18:17Perez's race sim was in daytime.
Checo couldn't have gotten this bad, come on
There was a 12C difference in temperatures and C1 isn't a great tyre for the higher temperatures. Nevertheless, still very impressive lap times from Ferrari.AR3-GP wrote: ↑22 Feb 2024, 18:16Something doesn't seem quite "like for like", because Sargeant is matching Perez in the last stint on the C1.
Yeah not necessarily saying it's impressive compared to Red Bull, but it's impressive just by itself. Remarkably consistent lap times on all three compounds.AR3-GP wrote: ↑22 Feb 2024, 18:16Something doesn't seem quite "like for like", because Sargeant is matching Perez in the last stint on the C1.
Sainz also kinda cooked his C3s early on by starting off too quickly, as evidenced by his 2nd stint times being slower than the first two laps on full tanks on C3s.stonehenge wrote: ↑22 Feb 2024, 18:19Yeah not necessarily saying it's impressive compared to Red Bull, but it's impressive just by itself.
