binotto parting gift
Offsetting for better track conditions today and softer tyres, Max' C3 lap from a few minutes ago is still not as good as Sainz' C4 29.9 lap, which itself was quite a relaxed lap without any corrections and pushing the boundaries. No one is still close to the limit.
Good point. Fingers crossed things are closer than they seem.Vanja #66 wrote: ↑23 Feb 2024, 15:28Offsetting for better track conditions today and softer tyres, Max' C3 lap from a few minutes ago is still not as good as Sainz' C4 29.9 lap, which itself was quite a relaxed lap without any corrections and pushing the boundaries. Race trim was always going to be hard but I’m really curious about their qualifying pace.. Ferrari was very close last year and I thibk RB have worked on rectifying that as well
Less fuel, high deg track. Would be a great change though if that was the case.CouncilorIrissa wrote: ↑23 Feb 2024, 17:18Here’s my baseless take: I’m seeing a trend reversal in terms of how the car treats different compounds. It feels like it likes hard compounds more, judging by the race sims.
Why they are comparing these stints? Max is on a different program. I thought he was going to do a complete race sim, but that isn't the case.Space-heat wrote: ↑23 Feb 2024, 17:351st Stint vs VER
