I think this boxing in between is the result of only 3 test days. They have only 2 shots (first day is for other things) under these conditions, so better adjust things between the stint instead of never. Thats testing.

I get the feeling Alonso is doing a full race sim (pit stops aside) and they are pulling the car in the garage so we can't be certain of what they are doing.
If that's the case, it sure does feel like a very very competitive race sim so far. Second best only to Verstappen.

Alonso was mid 1.37s with no degradation on the c3. Not possible with full fuel considering they weren't pushing the engine

Leclerc is doing high 35s in the second stint, I think it was full tank for Alonso (hopefully)
