The team did say that we'd look to start where we left off. Which by the end was tied for 2nd.

My gut is that we are similar to Merc, but I'm slightly concerned Ferrari are ahead.

Naturally I'm confident the team will continue to push hard and it will be close.

Ferrari always run well at bahrain. Suits their car characteristics of running softer, amazing engine, and having excellent traction. I think any delta between McL and Ferrari cars will swing in Ferrari's favour at this circuit compared to rest of the calendar

Every preseason test Ferrari seems good.

I hope so deg in stint 2 was basically nonexistant, Oscar was doing best laps towards lap 20 - low 37s

If we are close to Ferrari, I would expect Leclerc Norris Sainz Piastri to be the running order.

Didnt Stella say that some innovations didnt make ot in time to the launch car and will be brought in the season?

On another note we should really push for 2nd best.Considering how much Red Bull screws Perez we might have a chance at the constructors. Ferrari is close.

15 min to go in testing....HERE IS MY PREDICTION FOR THE SEASON...Max wins the WDC at Qatar again but McLaren wins the WCC at Abu Dhabi with Lando and Oscar finishing P2 and P4 in the championship. Bookmark this for November. kthxbye.

The gap also looks a bit too big. I think McL and Ferrari approached this simulation very differently.

I seriously doubt Ferrari has a second on McLaren in race pace.

Quite decent looking stints by Piastri. I think they have not nailed their setup so far.
