We are woeful in S3. Lose all the time we gain in the rest of the lap

We seem around 3rd fastest car at our weaker track. Race is not the most exciting as I'd hoped, but this is a satisfying start I think.

We may also be saving our tyres for a push later.

Honestly, considering most were writing McLaren off, including Mercedes with Allison saying they might be ahead of Ferrari and close with Aston, this is great.

Kind of an "in your face" moment. Not a great track for the car yet they were pretty much on par with Mercedes.

Ferrari a bit out of touch at the moment (Max is in another league). Hopefully the updates in the pipeline are significant compared to the competition.

That was all just fine. Not good, not bad just fine. If Perez has a better season, everyone is fighting for 3rd!

Gap to Ferrari is a bit larger than I'd like, we will struggle to beat them even at tracks that suit us better like Jeddah until these updates arrive.

Seems pretty much the same as late 2023, fight for pole in qualy and then track dependant result p2-p8

Decent start of the season. If this is one of tge weaker results this season, then this is good. With this pace at worst 4th is on the table.

I think it was good. A decent Q and we could have been fighting for 4th. The car has pace both days which is good.

Red Bull has some good race pace but they aren't as far as last year. We are currently in the fight for P2 depending on track. I hope we keep evolving till we get Red Bull.
