"JOS VERSTAPPEN DESTROYING MAX’S MIGHTY RED BULL F1 TEAM"

Getting the feeling Verstappen senior is a narcissist who is growing increasingly jealous of his son, and by trying to pull the spotlight to him has become an extremely toxic element.

Might be time for Verstappen to tell his dad to can it.
There is a dedicated thread for that stuff & that's a crap tabloid source that just reposts stuff from other outlets with sensationalised reporting
There's a thread about these statements by Jos Verstappen? Can you point me to it?

This is all over the internet and Jos confirmed he said it, I cannot find a single thing more important to the team this thread pertains to, than this, right now.
I presume it's the Cristian Horner investigation thread. But indeed, this affair extends to the team as a whole, so it seems to me that the implications of the affair on the functioning of RB as a team are more appropriate to post here, than in the threat that discusses the details of the affair itself.

If it's all over the internet then I'm sure a better source can be found if it's well substantiated.

And there's a thread for the Christian Horner Investigation which this is also explicitly about; supposedly Jos is threatening Max could move team to leverage Horner out as a result of the allegations & subsequent investigation. That thread

viewtopic.php?t=31537

was created to separate the topic from this team thread. One could easily make the same argument that you have made that as an employee (and CEO) of Red Bull Racing the Horner investigation is completely on topic here but the point is so that the team thread can continue functioning as normal discussing the actual on track/regular season stuff. If you want to engage in discussion about it.. that other thread's probably best

It would be epic!

But as always Red Bull (like Ferrari back in the Schumacher days) is afraid of having two great drivers in the team for some reason!

Carlos Sainz is the next best option after Norris refused! And it’s the best choice for Sainz to until 2027 at least when Audi may get competitive…

Apart from Max the rest of Red Bull’s drivers are nowhere! So they better refresh their lineup for 2025-2026…

alonso + sainz at red bull if max leaves, or Alonso+ max to battle against ham + lec at ferrari
and Pepe Marti to toro rosso, to be trained to be the future red bull talent.

No way Max leaves Red Bull with 2024 and probably 2025 in the bag. Clear bluff to put pressure on Horner.

+1 Rumours, sentences from old stories combined, fake news. No substance.
Red Bull, RBR and it´s drivers and managers all include a media silence. And this includes Jos.
It´s currently "Jos said"....without any prove whatsoever what he actually said.
I understand people wants answers. But answers sadly only feed the fire.
Let´s keep that discussion in the Tabloid Thread.
All freedom to speculate and investigate there.

Not sure where to put this as there is no Max to Merc thread, but according to F1insider theres a clause that allows him to leave Red Bull with immediate effect if Helmut Marko is to leave too

Helmut Marko on the Verstappen to Mercedes rumours: “I will not stand in the way of Max.”

Based on this, it should be a competitive season. When the track favors Ferrari they could be ahead of RB in race pace and that's before you consider any updates that Ferrari brings and the extra windtunnel time that they have.

I'm not sure where all the doom and gloom is coming from on the forum. Bahrain is not a representative circuit. Ferrari nearly won it in 2019 and we know how that season went.
It should be a closer season than 2023, but I understand doom and gloom. People are afraid of Merc and Ferrari failing with their cars again and RB walking away every time, but it's clear that's not the case. Max might just win more direct battles than others with RBs DRS, but there's no reason to think there will be 3 tight battles for the win in total, with 2 being between RB drivers.

I really did not expect either Ferrari or Mercedes to be as close, since RB had so much margin and development left from RB19 to redirect to RB20. Season's started better than I expected
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

Still how could Red Bull come up with this while having less and less time in the tunnel? Must be some effectiveness in the design stages

I would love to see a village idiot like Jos be gotten rid of from Red Bull environment and if that means Max goes, then so be it. Would love to see Alonso and Charles at Red Bull. :)

Rb doesn't have any DRS advantage. Not according to Bahrain results. I think dialtone did an analysis of this in the Ferrari team thread. Any differences were more likely due to wind or deployment.

Theres no way 3 integral parts of Red Bull walk just to keep 1 man. Surely Horner ends up out from this

Verstappen would be an idiot to leave RB now. Marko is 80+ and is not very relevant as far as I am concerned.

What is Adrian's role going forward? Horner has emphasized that the technical team under Pierre's leadership is very strong. Adrian, according to Horner has had limited input on the F1 side of things for a while now.

And what is in it for Marko/Newey/Max to leave right now? Also this discussion is better kept in that other thread.
