How? The team never told Yuki he could have the place back - plus his delaying for 2 laps and the resulting delays from Max coming through, prevented Daniel from executing the team plan.

  As opposed to the massive d#$% move by Yuki not moving out of the way immediately which had been discussed prerace if the situation arose thus ruining Ricciardo's best chance at clearing Kmag as he lost a lap or two and an additional 1.8 secs or so to Kmag due to Max coming through with the blue flags. If that wasn't a di%^& move enough he then proceeded to insult the team on the radio and drive like a nutjob on the cooldown lap risking a large amount of costly car damage or even worse injury to Dan and himself. But somehow Ricciardo is the d@#$?? Unreal..

Whats the point of handing the place back anyway the extra position was up for grabs all the way to the flag, Ricciardo was ahead and Yuki had already had way more of a chance to clear Kmag and couldn't. The extra position is important in a countback scenario.

Interesting, how much money did you bet on Yuki?

Daniel has been asked to swap positions many times and complied without argument.

Yuki needs to lessen to do the same. F1 is a team sport, despite the way some drivers carry on. Yuki had a ton of laps to get by KMag, and he couldn’t.
It most definitely isn't. The result is counted for drivers not teams.

You've clearly not heard of the WCC then? You know, the championship that actually pays the teams money for results! #-o

It was 1.8 seconds before Kmag himself needed to slow down for Max and was back to DRS range

After that Riccardo had more than adequate time to mount a challenge with 3 drs zones and nit even coming close to a move.

Then he does not even give the place back, what was he waiting for his team to give him a sweet reminder??

You might want to check the live timing again Ricciardo came within .2 to .3 of Kmag a couple of times after the blue flags and after Yuki had wasted his a couple of laps of much better soft tyre life. If Yuki moved over immediately and Dan had no blue flag interference it would have significantly increased his chances to pass Kmag. But that never happened due to Yuki's narrow minded petulance which is made even worse when he knew prerace this scenario could very well occur.

Why would you move for a slower driver? x times GP winner with ego bigger than his performance.

It’s irrelevant, he was on a different strategy to Yuki as he didn’t waste all of his soft tires in qualifying so was able to run soft/ hard/ soft. Yuki ran soft/ hard /hard.

Different strategy, starting on used tyres to give him a faster car at the end of the race. Which was discussed with Yuki prior to the race.
The faster softs a tth end of the race give RIC an advantage, but only for a short time.
The delay by TSU to move over than meant a further delay under blue flags, meaning most of the advantage of the quicker tyre was lost by the time RIC got to KMAG.

TLDR; TSU screwed over the team getting a driver into higher placing due to not following previously agreed race strategy.

And despite they not being any points on offer for either driver in the WDC or WCC, if the WCC goes to countback because RB end up on idetical points with another team a higher placing outside the points could be a deciding factor.
