Track and tire comparison between Bahrain and Jeddah. Jeddah doesn't appear to be rear limited. The longitudinal energy on the rear tires almost moving into the green. So IF AMR don't struggle with tire wear, we will not know if it is from changes they've made or the track layout.
Great information. I have never seen this information from Pirelli. Thank you so much.
Believe half of what you see and none of what you hear.

5th fastest is expected. just wondering how close apart from red bull it will be. can see mclaren being 2nd fastest at jeddah
It will be Ferrari because it is a motor track. I think we'll play it against McLaren and Mercedes who suffer more drag

Alonso hopes set-up wise adaptation to the track is better than Bahrain but that they should be the fifth fastest team still, not expecting any miracles.

In Bahrain just for me was look like all the big teams continously "pull" the floor on the asphalt?I mean like Ferrari floor continously was sparking at bottom. If I remember good they floor even did catch on fire. How I seen Aston car was much higher than Mclaren,Mercedes and Ferrari.
I think you might be mixing Ferrari and Merc. George's floor appeared to be on fire but some in the F1technical thread said it was a sensor.

kind of deceptive what he says.

Finally, in contrast to the question asked at the conference, Alonso revealed how the rubber management of the new car is worse than last year: “In Bahrain, in reality, we were bad from the point of view of rubber management. Degradation appears to have worsened compared to last year. The reason why we stretched the stints is because we waited for a possible opportunity, a safety car or something. Since we were in no man's land, we had no one before our reach and not even behind us, we only tried to gain positions with the strategy, but unfortunately it didn't work, however, not changing anything on the final result.
But here, for example, things will be different. The degradation is very low, and consequently stopping at the right time in the race will be fundamental.

The car reminds me a bit of the SF 23.

Not easy to get rid of the understeer.

If the AMR24 is green SF23, that makes AMR23 the green F1-75. The development trajectories are really similar if you think about it. A good all-rounder at the start of the year, easy to drive, but draggy; torpedoed by mid-season changes (FW/plank) that resulted in the car gradually becoming harder to drive.

1 perfomance update at least (and not 0, as some random twitter accounts reported earlier this week).

Well isn't "Front corner" brake ducts? That is usually circuit specific parts, so I can understand why he said it.

Reading the description of the udate (different geometry to improve XY) it's obviously a performance update. Not that it will change the world in terms of performance, just a notice about the "according to my informations" random twitter guys.

Alonso did a lot of extra laps compared to those in front of him, something the SF-23 wouldn't have been able to do.

Going to maintain that they aren't maximizing their race by almost always trying to go longer.

But they seem stuck in their ways, instead of just once trying an aggressive option.

Remember Alonso winning at Barcelona in 2013 with 4 stops? They decided to run an aggressive race plan that day.
