Was it that hard to double stack at the start? I don't think they were that close when entering the pits.

Yes it was that hard to double stack. They were running one behind each other. With a pit lane full of cars that's a death wish.

Screwed Norris over with the strategy... Should've been an easy 4-5
What should they have done? They couldn't double stack in the pit lane under the safety car. That would have been a death wish.

I mean how much more back would Norris be if he had a slight delay due to the double stack compared to what he is now? Would he lose like what 1 second, 2 seconds? I feel like he lost much more by not double stacking.

Looking like Norris' softs have gone.

EDIT: Or maybe not...

Well we don't have top speed to pass anyone, so probably exactly where he is now

Looking forward to Suzuka though, that high speed advantage is superb.

He's struggling in the Ferraris dirty air

He's 3 seconds back, he's not getting affected by the dirty air

Yeah, was a bit of an over reaction to how close Hamilton got that lap.

If Lando actually catches Bearman that'll give Hamilton the position IMO

Yea I think the soft tyres was the wrong choice in hindsight. Hulkenberg on his hards is lapping within a tenth or 2 of Lando

As things stand, straight line speed is something to worry about, and there's a possibility of RBR winning all the races this season.

Yeah, the softs are tired now. Perhaps Norris should have pitted earlier.

Softs not as fast as hoped. And Hards not dropping as much as hoped.

But, still the obvious thing to do. Double stacking was wrong call.
