Is Horner in good relationship with Adrian?
Why some papers write that Adrian maybe leave RB?
AN and CH have been working at RB from the start, their relationship will certainly be closer than Marko who is employed by RBR parent company. Beside AN is now working on a new hypercar project for RBR. So he is going nowehere.

One can only guess. Adrian left Williams after a brief successful stint due to financial issues. In one of the interviews Frank mentioned that he wanted partnership in the team and Frank didn't agree. He then had another brief successful stint at McLaren and a long struggle against a dominant Ferrari. Didn't like the management of Ron in those difficult years and quit. DC brought his reference to Horner and he hired Newey for a big pay packet. He has had his longest spell at one place so far in Red Bull. Newey enjoys a certain freedom and unhindered working atmosphere where he free to choose what he wants and do his own way with no questions asked. With that, he has enjoyed his longest successful stints, twice. Credit to Horner who has facilitated that. Would any other team boss continued his trust in Newey for as long as Horner did from 2014 to 2020? No idea. Can Newey go to another team and enjoy the freedom and atmosphere, without someone looking over his shoulder and asking questions and bring similar success? Not sure. What happens if he doesn't succeed for 2 to 3 years in a new place in the beginning? Is the current Red Bull team a disposable one for Newey? So many questions for which we don't know the answer, which then give an answer if Newey wants to leave Horner/Red Bull.

Never saw anything like it. What a domination by Max Verstappen, and I love every moment of it. Waited long 7 years of Mercedes domination from 2014-2020 to finally see my team doing its thing. And looks like now the harmony in the team will get back to normal, as key members will stay. We will see what will happen in Australia, the car looks good in slow, medium, high speed section and also on the straights. Which is very rare to see. But one thing is also certain, nothing lasts forever, we have to enjoy it while its happening. Man and the machine in perfect harmony.

It indeed is exceptional. VER is definitely in his prime, the car is stellar and the competition is further back then expected. Bar reliability issues and crashes it could even break records set with the RB19.

During such a high for the team it seems really unwise to break up due to tensions within the top of the team. I would expect that they just settle and move on.

Ferrari allows to attack the kerbs a lot better as usual(compare inside kerb in T2 in Jeddah, Leclerc was riding it, whereas Max avoided it all the time), and keeps an advantage under braking and in low speed, not least due to the lower center of gravity.

I find this interesting comment.

quote:

"When you really think about it, Newey never had a chance to unleash his full potential until now. Williams he was restricted by Frank and Patrick’s beliefs that contradicted his design philosophy. Mclaren he was restricted by the team’s corporate structure and was never allowed to fully lead the design of his car, especially when trying to correct the mistakes of the MP4-18 in the middle of 2003. Early RB he was restricted by the limitations of the Renault engine’s power output and their managements, and even more so during the hybrid era. This year’s RB19 proved what a genius can do when he’s not restricted on any part of the design"

Horner and Marko both staying in the team will be unsustainable, there's too much animosity that surfaced out
It will remain sustainable as long as Jos Verstappen stays home lol
Both of them refuted this...

Australia is the last race before upgrade packages will start happening. So far two 1-2s. Not a bad start.

How he didnt clip the barrier in that left hander is absolute precision.

Was there any views of the top down camera that was showed at a few times over the weekend?

Newey to Aston Martin to become Honda factory team. Alonso leaves for the vacant Redbull seat and Stroll becomes the 2026 WDC

DRS on the 2024 car seems way more powerful.

I guess we dont have the telemetry from the unfinished lap?

if you mean f1-tempo, then no. only finished laps are available

Yeah, thats where I had a look first. Only the 27.653 lap is on there.

Comparing the 2 times that were within a hundreth of each other though is interesting. Much higher top speeds in this era of cars than 2021.
I guess the big difference 3/4 of the way through will be the tighter turn 22 you mentioned in your clip?
