I did say a while back that the return was not 100% because of the neck injury. But no one listens.

If I was Kubica, I would immediately walk away from BMW, and offer my services to the Scuderia.

Even if it is only for the rest of the season, it would put him in a good position to replace Kmi in 2010 if he chooses to retire.

What a letdown with MS.

Half the world actually had plans to tune into the next GP just to see him race. Now I believe the disappointment is going to lead to record low viewership.

Hey, it was good while it lasted. Looks like Wili Webbers 200% was right afterall!

I wonder how rocketing into (the edge of) space on an air plane/rocket combo is on the neck?

Maybe it's smooth as glass, I'll probably never know.....

Ha... even there Weber is being cagey, saying that it was "pure speculation" that Schumacher would not race (pure, accurate speculation that is).

But before Schumacher announced his comeback, Weber said he was "200% sure" it was never going to happen. He knew there were reasons why it couldn't happen.

We now know that Schumacher suffered "fractures in the neck and head area" in February. That's a very serious injury. So we now know that it was always extremely unlikely that he would be fit enough.

What interests me is the extent to which Schumacher underplayed the severity of his injuries in February. He admitted nothing until today.

Here's what he said in February:
Today I had an accident at the biking tests in Cartagena, and to be safe I went to a hospital. I was driving down start-finish and when breaking into the first corner I hit some bumps which made me fall. The checks in the hospital showed nothing and I am fine, therefore I went back home at the evening.
Then today:
The consequences of the injuries caused by the bike-accident in February, fractures in the area of head and neck, unfortunately have turned out to be still too severe.
He clearly hasn't lost his talent for being economical with the truth.

I am really sorry to put this out there. But it did spring to mind and i am not saying this is what happend in anyway but..

Could it be a case that Ferrari knew Schumi would not be able to race and we just going to use the sob story to get a in season test of there 2009 car. With Schumi at the wheel they would get a ton of useful feed back and also maybe have the chance to run some new parts.

I have a feeling i may get a little burned for this.

PS: Did i also mention that the CIA have bugged my toaster and my tin foil hat is protecting me from mind control. :)

It was all planned from the beginning, Barrichello was paid to loosen the spring, it hit massa who just wanted a longer holiday (but got more than he bargained for) then when Williams said no to the testing their brilliant plan fell apart and they got assy about it...

Hmmmmm
