Yes, sector 1 and 2. And these are incredibly tough corners. Very fast, very risky. But to me sector 3, difficult as it is, was the nicest to watch.

I don’t see any reason why Red Bull shouldn’t sign Sainz right now!

He can perform on a top level, he can win whenever Max can’t (like today), he won’t bother Max for a championship but he’ll keep him more honest than Perez! I think it’s the right move for both Red Bull and Sainz himself for the short term at least…

Sainz family politics is the reason he won't be in a redbull

You're right, there's a family doing politics inside already and two would be too many   I don't think Sainz family is worse than the Verstappens to be honest

According to Christian, Perez had floor damage after passing Alonso.

Well, it's not about who's worse, is it? It is about clashing interests. They probably had a bit of that back at TR, and may not fancy to reiterate.

Hey guys something weird, I thought this was a super car and very dominant, yet it only reached 5th place? Anyone have any idea what happened here?

It would be apt. Neither of the RB drivers appear to have the nod of Marko for a seat in Red Bull. Perez is extremely poor driver. In the current scenario it's either Alonso or Sainz that would be a good fit for 2025 seat.

What are people's thoughts on why the car underperformed on race pace? Wrong setup or were there certain corners it didn't like?
Perez said he was unhappy with the balance. Too much front graining.

Probably Verstappen could have still won the race with the car IMO.

Most unusual not to see Perez storming through the field. Peter Windsor claims Perez has already signed an extension, hopefully that's not the case and Red Bull can still target Carlos Sainz Jr's signature for the 2025 season.

 Perez is an F1 veteran with numerous podium finishes. Just watch him taking journalists around in the Civic Type R -- he is a fast and talented driver, for sure! Just not a Tier 1 or Tier 1B Formula 1 driver.

Let me rephrase. Perez is an extremely poor driver, that's not a Tier 1 or Tier 1B in F1 and doesn't really deserve to be sitting in a car that befits a better talent.

At Viaplay ( F1 on Dutch TV) Horner explains the problems: "We were disappointed by Max's problem.
It was like he was driving around with the handbrake on. For the rest, we had a problem with Checo's floor,
he had some damage and he lost a lot of downforce on one side because of that. Then we struggled with the tires,
which is rare for us. There's a lot we have to understand, and it's disappointing that we leave here with fifth place."

and Sainz is tier 1 according to you? laughable tbh. Truth is Leclerc isn't a driver his fans still believe he is.
