Too bad source of f1-tempo telemetry is shot, looks like every lap of every driver has an issue somewhere, nothing to compare and we are stuck just watching. Like cavemen from 10 years ago

what makes you think so?
"It's close" but if their impression is that Ferrari are underfueled and using more power and they are still ahead it shouldn't be anything but close.search wrote: ↑05 Apr 2024, 09:37what makes you think so?
He was talking about race pace where Leclerc was a second faster than Max. What Marko means is that correcting for lower fuel levels and higher engine mode, Leclerc's race pace was pretty close to Max.scuderiabrandon wrote: ↑05 Apr 2024, 09:41"It's close" but if their impression is that Ferrari are underfueled and using more power and they are still ahead it shouldn't be anything but close.
Marko's full of bs as usual. He keeps repeating Ferrari runs at higher power in practices and telemetry keeps proving otherwise. Less fuel for Leclerc compared to Max in R sim is quite obvious.
Ah makes a lot more sense although Leclerc stint was 3 laps long. 2 of em on a lower engine mode.Cassius wrote: ↑05 Apr 2024, 09:43He was talking about race pace where Leclerc was a second faster than Max. Interesting. Ferrari have a tendency to run their engines slightly higher on Friday, they did on this track last year too. Should be an interesting weekend. Ferrari is definitely not weak in S1.

Imola upgrades, RBR minor-ish upgrade (tbd), with this. There is only so much hope one person can take.=
It is only FP1 but this is night and day from last year.
They really don’t have a lot to learn from today. This is going to be like a sprint weekend.CouncilorIrissa wrote: ↑05 Apr 2024, 12:36Looking better than expected so far, dare I say.
The usual suspects will do their overnight jump, however.
