The FP3 laps of Russel and Hamilton are just as fast as their 2023 Q3 laps. Same for Perez. Max is still a bit slower than his Q3 lap from last year (28.8 vs 29.5). Let's see how much is left in the cars for Q.

Russels longrun looks quite strong.

It would be very surprising if they are sandbagging. They rarely ever do this on a race weekend and the lack of FP2 and an upgrade package makes it even less likely imho
There is no chance Ferrari is 1s/lap faster than RBR.

Red Bull is using the same high downforce rear wing as in Bahrain and apart from the back straight where the difference is too much, Leclerc looks faster in most corners too.

Unlike FP1, in FP3 Leclerc was running higher PU mode until last 3 laps when he dialed it down, so it's not deg. Sainz didn't run the higher mode at all (as far as I saw) and both Ferraris were lighter than RBs. Deg looks good on both cars
As for Red Bull, seems both cars were running same, lower PU modes as they did in FP1.

Norris had no long runs, Piastri's on Softs was impressive to see so many laps, but deg was terrible.

Compared to Max, Alonso was on highee PU and lighter (good deg in any case) while Russell was on even higher PU and maybe even lighter than Alonso.

And they call it a stall. A STALL!

The 2024 cars are much faster in the low speed corners than last year's cars.
VER 2023 pole S3: 17.841
VER today: 17.667 (top speed in 130r is much lower than in 2023)

Russel unsafe release - investigating after session.

Monster lap from Max on the first run. Ferrari .65 and 1 second behind. .5 to piastri

looks like LEC needs a 2nd set for Q1. That's his day done already then, more or less.
