I feel like they just use a (poor) predictive AI model to generate a pecking order and just roll with it.

They are so rarely correct, even in the order let alone gaps, I doubt there's actually someone properly analyzing data from the FP sessions.

I have seen fans here make better predictions than what F1 publishes ...

Both drivers are struggling with degner 2 on the quali sims but otherwise it looks very quick.

Norris was fastest in S1 but went wide in S2 - on his second run on those tyres he was over two tenths slower in S1.

The softs are a one lap tyre.

The rear is playing up a little still but it seems better than FP3. There was definately some balance issues but they seem largely but not completely gone.

AM brought the upgrade. They were good in qualy in previous races as well. We will see how it goes in the race. But we will bring the upgrade soon as well. Let's see who develops better.

On a positive note - Ferrari seems slower today.

Team says: LEC and TSU only have one new set of Softs for Q3, everyone else has kept two.

Which is strange - I thought Mercedes has one new set as well.

The car is half a second faster than the best q3 time last year. That's not bad at all.

I would say that we are doing very good considering everyone brought upgrades and we might have been in front if Red Bull didnt bring upgrades here.
