Used mediums on the red bulls
New medium on Charles
New hard on Lewis and George (can’t see that ending well to start with others on soft behind)
Indeed, Ricciardo is a has been. But Albon needs to do better, the team is struggling already.Spacepace wrote: ↑07 Apr 2024, 07:34Being beside Ricciardo is a risky positionCs98 wrote: ↑07 Apr 2024, 07:32Ricciardo was keeping the position whether he moved over or not, that's not a place you pass on the outside from half a car length back. Albon's decision making is not good here, from the standpoint of taking a big risk without any real reward. That doesn't mean he is technically at fault for the crash, it just means it was a bad decision to put himself in a risky position.
You'll notice that Lec passed Hamilton around the outside into 3.Cs98 wrote:Ricciardo was keeping the position whether he moved over or not, that's not a place you pass on the outside from half a car length back. He was desperate to not lose another place to Stroll and he f'd upCs98 wrote: ↑07 Apr 2024, 07:16That's not a clear pass opportunity, that's a crash trap. He's always going to get squeezed there when he isn't fully alongside. He's putting himself in bad positions and the team can't afford it. How much money has this guy thrown down the drain in a team that needs every penny?
Leclerc should get a black flag for trying to pass. He was basically putting both their lives on the line by trying to get around the car in front. Stupid modern F1 and its dangerous overtakes, the FIA should do something about it before we go back to the 1950's when there was basically a death every race.denyall wrote: ↑07 Apr 2024, 07:37You'll notice that Lec passed Hamilton around the outside into 3.Cs98 wrote:Ricciardo was keeping the position whether he moved over or not, that's not a place you pass on the outside from half a car length back.
