Leclerc's side of the garage needs to fix their **** in qualifying. He had an ultimately slower strategy today but it allowed him to jump a few cars, and he made it work. With proper strategy and qualifying he'd be fighting Checo.

I thought they hung Sainz out to dry, but both strategies were perfect and maximised what was available today. Redbull were never within reach (despite our fantasies) at this track. To bring home a 3-4 after qualifying 4-7 is what was available today. And it wasn’t easy, Charles’ 1 stop was an absolute masterstroke. The Ferrari strategy team is definitely improving. If they knew they had a big tyre wear advantage and just did a run of the mill 2 stopper with Charles, that would have been terrible. But they used it, and it worked. Smart.

Leclerc did an amazing job on that first stint, but the car is clearly a step above the chasing pack.

RedBull looked very strong, but with a cleaner race I think Ferrari would have been a lot closer.

Track position hurt them today so quali pace must be looked into. Hopefully the Imola package delivers, should be game on with RedBull.

What a strategy btw. That first stint was magic from Leclerc obviously pays the price of a bad qualifying today. He was as quick as Norris with one less stop, that's incredible tyre management.

So that’s a 0.4s/lap slower than RBR after their update in their best track.

4 races driven, 4 races maximised on points, amazing consistency from Ferrari! Gap to Red Bull cut in half on their dominant Suzuka in 6 months!

Why!?! They extracted the absolute maximum result vs the RBR team! And proved that despite a poor quali the team can regain places through maximising the strengths of the car (tyre wear)
