Let’s give a couple penalty points to Alonso for pushing Sainz off track with a lounge that had zero hope to succeed and could only cause a crash.
Yes, let’s actually ban him for, idk, say half a season for racing. It’s not like this was a formula 1 race. Oh wait, what? Just heard it actually was. Well now i’m in a pickle. #-o
He pushed sainz out of track and had no right to do so as he was behind at the apex, that’s a penalty.
Not allowed to do what exactly? Dive in there? Was that the first time you saw something like this?
We were and are wishing for racing every single weekend, and now you wanna punish someone for exactly that?!

Yes. Parc ferme is not in effect any more until after quali.
Great, no penalty for Alo
Would have been silly .. this was finally some close racing.
Leclerc kinda whining is silly

Yeah also worthy of penalty but they don’t penalize drivers from the same team, check australia last year with the 2 alpines.

Fair play to Max not cheering and being overly happy etc.

Even he knows it wasn’t really a race, such was the gulf in car performance.
yes, even Max knows sprint isn't really a race. it's a waste of air and time. how surprising he doesn't look overly happy.

Dives like that are just stupid and have nothing to do with racing. Everyone is good at passing by making the corner after bumping into the other car wheels and sending it out of track.

If that’s racing to you, go look at some open lobbies.

What are you talking about? That was a normal racing incident. Seen hundred times before. And in the end you got what you wished for and he punished himself.
Don’t get this no contact at all bs. That’s still racing, get over it.

13s in 10laps is quite something .. but then again, the battle for 3rd made sure Ham wasn't attacked which gave him the possibily to focus on the tires .. so 13s isnt really the truth I'd say, but in clean air Ver should be able to pull 30/40s in clean air from pole. That must be worrying ..

Alonso keeping P3 for that long in a 5th fastest car(by far) was just magical. What a driver, what a legend!

It’s not about no contact at all costs, it’s about being able anyway to make the corner without the other car. Alonso was never going to make that corner without Sainz.

They gave 10s to Magnussen in Saudi for an infinitely smaller contact.

He didn’t get a penalty because he retired, so whatever, but that was absolutely penalty worthy, reminiscent of Max on Vettel in 2018 in China.
