Yes, I Agree. Don't they want to see racing? 10 sec and 3 penalty points!! #-o

it was so better with Masi aboard. and do not tell me stewards decisions have nothing to do with the RD.

Lap 15 onwards in the sprint was great. Q very dull, and a comfortable RB 1-2 tomorrow.

f1 is dull in general these days, and not because of red bull advantage. (it was not a tiny bit better in Aus without Max and his teammate in play) I've yet to see a single exciting session this year. wet sprint quali (kind of) was the best so far, unsurprisingly, because it was wet.

RB simulator is pretty spot on, 1min 33.7sec

So even when the outcome is Alonso DNF, he still gets a penalty? Surprised at this point they didn't apply it to the Grand Prix 😐

Why is it so difficult for the FIA to use common sense or logic?

Any idea why AMR are protesting the qualifying session?

Possibly Sainz stopping on track and being allowed to continue?

Hamilton was incredibly poor today. Let Max get into DRS during the sprint with a big error and again in qualy, not even out of Q3 due to his own errors. Russell meanwhile showing what the car is capable off in qualy.

Imagine calling finishing P2 ahead of way faster cars “poor”

I mean the guy did everything right in the Sprint! I don’t know why people keep pointing to the lockup as the reason he got passed by Max! The rest couldn’t even beat Perez…

Red Bull was over 1 second faster in the Sprint! Max would have got by irrespective of Lewis making a mistake…

10 sec penalty and 3 penalty points for Alonso, the penalty points seem a bit excessive to me but looks like its the new protocol with penalty points.

This is utter BS.
Why isn't Sainz penalised exactly the same for doing exactly the same on leClerc ? (atleast Alonso touched the apex of the corner).
Where is the consistency by the stewards ?
Utter nonsense.
What do race control, stewards and FIA want ? pussification of F1 ?

Verstapen fans waiting in the wings ready to slay Hamilton after embarrassing themselves in Sprint Shootout… =D>

Still doesn’t change the fact that you lost pole while having a car over 1 second quicker than anyone…
Oh man, you are clutching at straws, like what happens in teenager facebook group chatter.

Question is what happened to that pace in quali, P18 is disastrous. Maybe Alonso holding the others off in the Sprint saved Hammy's bacon.
