Why why why why wouldn't they just use the monochrome HP logo. Vasseur needs to purge the design department at Ferrari
100% agree, but it is their logo color. Same as Shell (or the Chrome logo on MCL). Problem is that this blue sticks out against the red.
I'm hoping the blue is either a one/two off and they'll use a monochrome, or maybe they'll permanently add some blue to the livery so the logo wont be such an eyesore.
Just kind of bizarre. I don't find the suit to look as hideous as everyone else, but it sure isn't polished, either. It's a half-assed, amateurish look, regardless of how one feels about the blue.
Why is the black/white logo unacceptable for HP? Do we know this to be certain? Is Ferrari required to sport the blue in order to see their full funding? That's godawful if true and should've had them immediately looking elsewhere. I hope that's not the case.
Will the logo be tweaked/polished? Will the location be changed? Will the colors be changed/vary?
I'm not 100% opposed to the blue entirely but it needs a tremendous amount of creative development in order to make it work. Generally speaking, I'd likely rather not see any blue (but I'll keep an open mind).
This is the same Ferrari that used green for the mission winnow logo and that thought the gradient on the SF21 was a good idea, I'm no longer surprised by their poor design decisions
I guess the intrusive logo is part of what they pay for. It stands out more so it's worth more in terms of advertisement, just like the green logo of mission winnow
Azzurro La Plata was the colour choice of mechanics and drivers overalls until 1975, one of Enzo's favourite colours. Ferrari's bringing back blue in a big way in Miami, but with HP on board it would be more than appropriate to include it as tertiary colour next year - after red and white.
It is, of course, not a coincidence the Italian mechanic "car" in Cars movies is light blue
The only car there that looks good with blue is the NART one. It's why a one-off full on blue car would be great, but just some blue addition to the normal red livery is going to look bad.
