Formu1a Uno mention that it would've been useful to be able to run experiments with the higher DF wing at China that was available in the garage. But with 1 free practice the decision was made to stick with the medium DF wing.

I'm hoping that if Newey leaves, we can convince Wache to come here. That would be a big coop.

According to the BBC Newey can negotiate a clause that'll allow him to work with the team he wants from next year. Negotiate being the key word there.
