RB will improve massively as they (almost) always do.
Currently it's giving Singapore 2023. Red Bull seems a lot worse than they usually do when they have an overnight recovery, especially with how much Max is complaining on the radio. They've only gone backwards since FP1.

I don't think it's going to be full Singapore 2023, but I really struggle to see how they will recover if they --- up their quali. Ferrari looks really, really good in race sims and if Max qualifies like p5 I don't see a way for him to get past, since Ferrari actually tends to have better tyre wear than Red Bull this season, so going long and overcutting a la 2022 isn't an option.

Red Bull car balance looks all over the place. I've never seen Verstappen going off this much before, especially not in FP.
I feel that Norris win affected him more than we think. Ferrari is throwing salt in the wound now.
But let's see! He could get it together for P3 and qualy.
This is good to read, you do recognize it is the driver and not just the car. I know, it only counts when things are going less than optimal, but still. It is good to know that!

RB looking more balanced today. 0.3 off sainz on softs vs 5 lap old softs Max set the time on. Dialling out a bit of flap through turns 5-6 aswell so guess coming to fine tuning.
Mess with the Bull - you get the horns.

meh, session over, I guess. Would have liked to see Verstappen's lap (although he was 2 tenths behind Piastri after S1 already).

Fire up the cameras, it's the annual Perez exposition.

I'm firmly convinced this guy does it on purpose, he always does it after some upgrade, it's like clockwork.

Possibly. The RB20 doesn't look like it's on rails like before. Usually, they'd have fixed the issues and been
on the pace ahead of qualifying. We'll have to see how they fare when they turn everything up and push the limits.

As for Perez? I don't think it was necessarily his fault for crashing into the wall, the RB20 doesn't seem like it can ride the kerbs like it did in the first few races. I do wonder if convergence is now happening with the cars, and Redbull's advantage is being whittled away. I still think Verstappen will win the drivers title, but it might be a bit closer.

Maybe Newey took away the go faster paint

Marko just said their long runs were much better than yesterday, but the car is still nervous on low fuel. Better than before, but not good enough. Currently he sees McLaren as the favorite to take pole, and a close battle for the spots behind.

Norris was an ass on the last runs. Why making queue when it is only FP3
