Track is still rubbering in. Last lap is everything.
Lando on the back foot a bit because he spent one of his new softs on that late run in Q1. Very unfortunate, I think he picked up debris somewhere and lost downforce so he had to go to the pits to get it cleared. Definitely would have been able to set a fast lap earlier on if he wasn't so unlucky.
As expected. Low power modes and lazy in FP3 indicating quite a bit of fuel. We are in the fight boys. LEC not as dominant as I thought
It's not engine modes, more likely fuel and sensible driving, not risking damage.
Wonder what the FP2 tea leaf readers make of this
I am pretty sure it was fuel more than engine modes. The car looked so sluggish on slower stuff when I looked at it onboard. Clearly they were running much heavier than others and knew they had quite a bit in the bag. I did not expect this to be honest, I believed they would struggle much more than this, but it seems like they're in the mix.
I'm not sure it was because corner and top speeds were similar. Or at least I think it was a smaller part There looked to be very specific areas where the drivers were not pushing and Ferrari were and this was the high speeds at 13, 14 and the entry to 15 and then the last corner.
But as I was saying before, almost every weekend Ferrari run fast in FP2.

Today it might be Oscar's pole. Number 81 of the 81 Monaco GP of the 81 F1 Championship. It will be very close and we need to find 1 to 2 more tenths from current pole to have an 1-2.
