I rather think we stand a strong chance of the win at Monaco. Not sure if it will turn out that way, but my feeling is that we will benefit from a focussed low speed set up and the car will eat up the track.

Pretty sure these things can take up to two hours. It certainly did for Oscar last week.

But the biggest highlight has to be the fact that we have one of (if not the best) pairing in F1 right now… The fact that Oscar is performing as he is lately is just amazing for the team, not having to rely on only one driver to bring the results is what a team aiming for a WCC needs to get right and McLaren so far has.

Lando was blocked pretty badly on his outlap by Sainz. Really poor from McLaren, they screwed him. Pretty sure he started his lap with cold tyres, and looking at his s1, it makes sense.
Either way, happy with the car and drivers.

Hope Sainz gets the Albon penalty. We could attack Leclerc much easily

That is why Norris said that Sainz impeded him. It probably costed him a possible pole.

With the relative lack of race pace from Oscar, I'd say Ferrari still has the best lineup by the smallest of margins, but you really can't go wrong with either driver pairing at this point. Ferrari is sure to have the best lineup by far in 2024 though, unless Hamilton is falling off and Sainz goes to Red Bull.

Also on SkyF1 Croft said that Lando had to lockup on his last lap in Sainte Devote (turn 1), so seeing the graphs from LionsHeart make sense where he lost the time to a front row place.

In 1999 we had this in Monaco, and was a double for Ferrari. Maybe tomorrow we'll have the same, double for the team starting in P2 and P4 (for the moment, still waiting for Sainz decision)

It's definately worse as Piastri had nowhere to go at Imola while Sainz had a choice. I believe it will be a scandal if there's no penalty on that.

Lando got reprimanded for the Russel incident.
