Stroll pits to chase Gasly, but he has the leaders in front of him. That's the other problem with pitting. If you are lapped, then you have to unlap yourself from the leaders to catch who you are chasing.

They only have a soft tyre so they need less laps to run it on to the finish. But you are right. Even if those softs burn out, then he can still fight to the front then make the car wide.

That Tsunoda gap is curious. It could be a Redbull instruction to leave the gap for Max.
