He is showing that after I made that post. Difference between P4 and P5 is 2 points. With new tires you probably can get a fastest lap so it is 1 point. Felt like it is worth a risk.

Monaco is always a snooze fest, but this year it has been particularly extra boring. That early red flag literally killed the race. Could have actually skipped this one and given awards after quali yesterday. Would have helped a bit with sustainability as well. Completely pointless running today, just burning fuel and tires for nothing.

Commentators saying that Verstappen is the example of why Mclaren made the right call to pit. But we'd have pit onto softs and have a lot more pace. Ah well. That's Monaco. Spend over an hour watching a procession hoping for an accident or for a gap to appear that mixes things up that arrives for less than a lap.

And the whole 50 laps before Verstappen pit, it was literally Ferrari managing pace. They had a better car here by quite a decent margin actually, but just out of worry for tires, they were going 3-4 seconds per lap slower than their actual pace.
