I surely hope one day before I die to see this beautiful track and the land around it. Every time I see shots of it from the air the Ardennes look breathtakingly beautiful. This is by far the best race on the calendar. Damn you Europeans and your awesome ractracks!

The McLarens look really skittish in the back even with the amount of wing they are running. I hope for their sake that it's just a setup issue and they work around it, but if they are that skittish with alot of wing the car isn't as good as they might let on.

These cars are fast 1:45.4 :o I suspect Toyota's,BMW's,Sutil,Grosjean & Rosberg went for light last lap runs.

Judging from other teams I think they were doing longer runs testing both tyres i.e Toro Rosso Jaime did a series of laps on the soft tyre(possibly for race evaluation) & Buemi at the end tried them to see the difference but not on a low fuel load.

I expect Mclaren,Toro Rosso,Red Bull,Kimi to be faster in qualifying but it's going to be very tight. Alonso's struggling surprisingly & Webber will have to pray for any chance of getting a good qualifying spot , Brawns not sure where their gonna be so it's going to be fascinating to see how qualifying turns out.

Red Bull & STR need to somehow look at their data quickly and see how they can improve in S1 & S3 because in qualifying it's going to be crucial for their laptimes especially at the bus stop chicane. Their cars seem to lack traction & are slow out of there and thus losing time overall when they cross the line.

Actually im looking at the sector times right now and yes I know Toyota were probably light but they seem genuinely competetive their 9th & 10th in S1 S2(The crucial Sector)2nd & 3rd and in S3 they are 6th & 14th. I don't wanna draw any conclusions here but if they can get it together they could be one to watch out for.

seems to be the case though.....

let's hope Jarno (might be leaving Toyota F1) and Timo will please their bosses back in Japan by some good qualifying results to sanction (finally) a budget for them to race in 2010!!!!!

Q2 is a shake-up!
Both McLarens out, Alonso out and Button out. Rubens is 6th so it's the man not the car...on the face of it.

Both BMW's in Q3, both Toyota's...somethings a wry! At least both Red Bulls got in with their engine troubles.

Best of all Fisi is in Q3!

Badoer has the fastest speed in the speed trap a full 10k faster than Kimi who's 3rd fastest so far. 324 to 314km/h. Sutil in 2nd is only 315km/h. Why the big difference?
