Edit: The Local Rides table is better than this but it does show that what Fisi did wasn't a fluke, he really was on the pace! Many drivers have the similar fuel load (lighter in some cases)

I dont really think he will manage, he is very consistent driver but not type of winner. I wouldnt be suprised if Heidfeld was overtaken by Kubica or Kimi in the first corner.

That was a fun qualifying. And the grid + fuel loads seem to provide a good race tomorrow. If not, Spa will do the rest I'm really looking forward to the race.

Very interesting, so Fisi is not as light as I thought. Very impressive. On the other hand, Fisi is the lightest in the Top 3.

Rubi is very light, that explains how he managed to put himself much higher than Button on the grid. Glock is lighter than I expected, I wonder what he'll be able to pull off in the race. Glock has a chance to overtake some cars like Kimi if he can make a super quick start.

Rosberg is heavy, and the Red Bull cars are are on the heavy side too, which explains their positions a little bit. Nonetheless, I don't expect Red Bull or Williams to do very well in the race.

Kimi is not heavy enough to make a big impact in the race, but we will see.

The real danger man though is Trulli. He is the heaviest in the Top 5, and he *still* managed to qualify on the front row. If Trulli can make a very quick start, he has a very strong chance here.

The only thing I see that can lead to weird race results is bad weather.

the fuel they put in just b4 q3, say they put 45 litres and use 15 litres in quaily. after do they stop it bk upto 45, just fill up the defiect

Weight had a little bit to do with it, but you are right Button did struggle looking at the numbers, compared to Rubi. Rubi is the lightest in the Top 10, I don't think his strategy will work out.

Ok we have been thrown a wild curve ball.. now for the implications of the car weights... Trulli favored to win. Rubens hungry and more accustomed to running up front could close the gap to within 8pts with a win. Nick could be a real surprise as he is slightly heavy and still fast, Fisi on podium unless a disaster strikes and if it remains a dry race. FIF1 have a new aero package that is performing beyond expectation. Their DDD looks like a Mac clone. Kimi with KERS at the start could jump RK and maybe even Rubens but Rubens has experience holding off the KERS equipped Macs at the start before.

The primes are much better than the options so I look for a typical lap strategy of Prime 16, Prime 16, Option 12.... Option 12, Prime 16, Prime 16, or Prime 16, Option 12, Prime 16.... some long runners are two stopping which may be Prime 26, Option 18 laps or something.

Weather... If it rains before the race and it is a drying track, that could favor those with a short first stint. If it rains during the race it is a crap shoot as to when and who it will favor.

Red Bull looks to gain points and finish around 5th & 6th. Long running Alonzo may sneak into 7th or 8th. Ham is out, Button would be glad to get a point or two.

Then there is the first corner wild card... and at Spa you can overtake in several places so we shouldn't see to many cars getting stuck in traffic.

This definitely promises to be the most exciting race we have seen all year.

The KERS cars are going to mix up the midpack I can guarantee that..

Luca to 16th... Kimi to 4th or 3rd.. Kovi and Hamilton maybe to top 10.
