I think a win is gonna be very hard unless we get rain, i think a podium might be possible? who knows reallyGood thing is the car is good. Lewis still has a chance to win. Do not discount him..

Well done? You make it sound like it was a big achievement
I would like to see that BTW, no one can disagree with you
With Villeneuve I think he himself knows. He is a guy that wants to make catchy statements. Overdone, yes. Often a core of truth, willing (eager even) to say things that are a bit painful. Yes. I guess we also need a few guys like that.Artur Craft wrote: ↑09 Jun 2024, 01:15Well done? You make it sound like it was a big achievement
A few days ago I was watching an sport´s show on Italian tv and the commentators were debating whether it would be possible for Ferrari to "cancel" the contract with the GOAT and keep Sainz, instead.

How the hell did Max keep up with that? Looking forward to the telemetry. RedBull might just heat up it's tyres properly in the race and normal service will resume.organic wrote: ↑09 Jun 2024, 00:33Russell tow was worth 2 tenths on his used tyre run.

I had predicted this S1 dominance by Max before the weekend began.PlatinumZealot wrote: ↑09 Jun 2024, 01:55How the hell did Max keep up with that? Looking forward to the telemetry. When I look up F1-tempo.com , comparing the fastest RUS lap (warmer track Q2) and the fastest VER lap (colder track Q3) , the gain by VER is around 0.18 through S1. It's down to his exceptional talent to not sacrifice too much in entry and yet gain well in exit of corners, whilst also preserving his tyres better. This will not show up as 'better minimal speed' through a corner (in fact it will often be lower minimal speed than his competitor) , it's actually a case of him minimizing 'duration the car is not in straight-ahead orientation'. A unique driving style like Schumacher, but not the same extreme extent (Schumacher days there was no need to protect tyres).venkyhere wrote: ↑05 Jun 2024, 13:28Expecting Redbull to do well in S1 where the rapid change of direction through 3-4-5-6 will matter.
Expecting Ferrari to dominate S2 and S3 where lots of kerbs and chicanes are present.
Expecting McLaren to be the runner up in all sectors.
Expecting Max and LeClerc to truly show their exceptional skill transitioning from the start-finish straight into a style of T1 such that they then blend into an 'efficient' T2.
Any of VER/LEC/NOR to win.
Beating teammate to first pole after a long while for the team is huge. Big boost for the team..Artur Craft wrote: ↑09 Jun 2024, 01:15Well done? You make it sound like it was a big achievement
