The lightened version of the Alpine given to Ocon is much faster and handles much better than the Aston...... They'll take a spot in Q3
We knew Barcellona was difficult but seeing the Alpines, the Haas doing better job is very painful
Meanwhile Gasly has just gone p4 only just under 2 tenths from P1. This was a team plum last at the start of the season. Aston Martin need to get a genius to fix the car because these lot are clueless.
What's concerning is this is exactly what the weakness of last year's cars was.. It struggled in long corners and that was an issue that was apparently understood around this time last year??.. It seems they fundamental don't understand how to correct that issue if they're in exactly the same place a year later.diffuser wrote: ↑21 Jun 2024, 14:54The characteristics that are holding back Aston Martin's F1 car

He trusts Lawrence and until we see this in 2026 (hopefully not) he might as well take the chance. Nothing to lose everything to gain.
We knew this year is pretty much a write off before this but this race just confirms it. Despite that I’m still optimistic that Lawrence is doing everything in the background to make sure Aston Martin get the right people for 2025 so we don’t get 3 years of Deja vu.Both Aston Martin drivers are in the same position as their Driver Numbers
Who’s defending them? When people make comments like this attacking the air instead of being specific the wrong people might get the wrong idea.
All the more reason for persuading Newey! Lawrence better hurry up we need some good news before team morale drops.jofs89 wrote: ↑21 Jun 2024, 17:47What's concerning is this is exactly what the weakness of last year's cars was..
