I sincerely hope that Sargeant doesn't suffer a brain fade tomorrow. Want to see a no yellow flag race, so that we can finally know what car is where this season. There couldn't be a more representative track to find out.

we can safely say the Mclaren is THE CAR of 2024, usurping the crown from RB20.
It's a 24 race season. Of the 9 races completed, the RB20 took 7 poles in a row and won 6 of the races.

That doesn't make any other car the "car of the year" at this stage of the season. Unless one is preparing a particular narrative, of course.

Highly likely that Lando will knock Charles from P2 in the WDC tomorrow.

This race was an overtake fest last year.

I’ve said it a ton of times but people didn’t wanna listen!

-Verstapen isn’t a great qualifier! There’s your answer…

On a side note:

-“sabotage emails” show up! Hamilton suddenly destroys the life out of Russell! Just a coincidence probably eh?
Destroys? What was the gap again, pray tell?

Let me fill in the portion of the sentence that you have cleverly left out when quoting :
The only remaining doubt is how the tyre deg of MCL38 (in normal summer temp conditions) is going to be, w.r.t the RB20. If that too proves better tomorrow, we can safely say the Mclaren is THE CAR of 2024, usurping the crown from RB20.

Not to mention medium Vs soft. Too hard to draw conclusions on race pace this weekend id say. Itll be a battle of deg and the right pit stop time which will win the race tomorrow.

Considering that when neither car was being towed, McLaren were gaining time to RB on the main straight:

The tow from Perez was worth about a tenth for Verstappen, even if Norris also received one.

Without the tow, the gap to pole would've approached 2 tenths. (2 hundredths + usual deficit in straight to McLaren + 1 tenth from tow)

At this moment, and since Miami really, the McLaren is very good.

Rain is still likely so 7 cars are in the mix I guess. Sorry Perez...
Don't see how Piastri has better chance than Perez?

With the right safety car, I think anything is possible for anyone.
