A different strategy would not have gotten them the win.

Team is doing okay. A few things could be tidied up but the alternative strat was sound today. Pace when in clear air was electric. Sadly we didn’t spend enough time in it. Whereas Max did manage that very well

The point is the Max was not risking it by choosing to lose that time, because one small off would lose the race. He was genuinely pushing and he was slower.

Looking at this, I surmise that the Mclaren struggles more than we'd like in dirty air.

Tyre delta was an ugly way of passing, but we needed it to get by.

After the start it was the only way to overtake. Clean air is the way to go. And I say with self-confidence we have the fastest car now. Pit stops could be better.

We took the point for the fastest lap. Norris was very disappointed with the second place. We are a very long way from last year. What worries me is Piastri's pace. I hope it was one off.

Our car is fast definately. Not the fastest as Red Bull still is as a car but the difference is miniscule which can change with an upgrade.
Didnt help that Lando started on the dirty side and having the torpedo Rusell behind. It was unfortunate that he was also stuck behind him. I wonder if they could have pitted two laps earlier on the 2nd stint.

Yes, this one got away from us. Lando is rightly disappointed. However, we clearly can battle for P1 on merrit. The next 2 weekends might be rather spectacular for our team to be honest. I still feel excited about the car, the team and the drivers and am already looking forward to the rest of the season.

Yeah, a shocker by Oscar. Car was comfortably fastest on the hands of Lando but 4th fastest on Oscar.
